In the footage, a woman was walking around the counter "to confront the workers". The suspects threw a bottle at the worker before attacking him. The video, which has some blurry parts, shows the woman punching and assaulting the worker. The attack started at the back of the restaurant, but then continued to the lobby.

Police said the woman's leg and ligament were torn during the attack in December.

The Cincinnati Police Department was reached for details on the incident and an update on the investigation, but did not hear back by Saturday afternoon.

The attack on a Wendy's restaurant in Cincinnati is one of many attacks on fast-food workers in the US in recent months.

Last month, Phoenix police said a Wendy's employee was shot in the head after a customer got into an argument over barbecue sauce. Less than a day after the shooting, police arrested a suspect in the shooting and identified him as 27-year-old Theotis Polk. The 16-year-old victim survived but was shot in the brain, and his father said it was unclear whether the injury would have permanent cognitive effects.

In another incident last month, a McDonald's drive-thru employee was shot and killed after he became angry over a woman's order of fries. According to the police, while the employee was resting, the woman hit him in the head with a gun before opening fire. The suspect was later identified as 30-year-old Terika Clay.

And on January 8, a man shot and killed a Taco Bell employee in a drive-thru who refused to accept his counterfeit bills in Los Angeles. The police said

At which time the victim, a 41-year-old man, was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene.
